Our program this week emanates from the Kyriad Hotel in Perigeaux, France with the New Orleans action painter called Frenchy and 101 Runners pianist Tom Worrell who are here with me at the MNOP Festival along with the 101 Runners Mardi Gras Indian funk band and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux of the Golden Eagles. We’re talking about the Festival and playing music by Festival artists Don Vappie, Charmaine Neville, Evan Christopher, Lazy Lester, and the 101 Runners, plus the ReBirth Brass Band and the Forgotten Souls Brass Band with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux.
