IT’S ALL GOOD
JOHN SINCLAIR RADIO SHOW 682
Episode 682 celebrates our 12 years of broadcasting the John Sinclair Radio Show with a presentation of our program launch of November 22, 2004 at the Coffeeshop Amnesia upon the opening of the 2004 Cannabis Cup festivities in Amsterdam. The John Sinclair Radio Show was conceived and plotted in a series of informal meetings at Amnesia by Henk Botwinik, Larry Hayden, Anthony Murrell and myself, and we wanted to start our programming from our home base. After our opening theme, "It's All Good" by John Sinclair with the Dutch rap duo Langefrans & Baas B, there was the obligatory singing of "Indian Red" by Big Chief Monk Boudreaux with the Forgotten Souls Brass Band and music by James
Brown, Little Richard, Andre Williams, and John Sinclair & His Blues Scholars. Our official Opening Tokes, the Hog, were furnished by THSeeds, and our first guests included Adam Dunn from THSeeds and the HempWorks clothing shop, brother Itay from the Amnesia management, Mr. Lee Bridges—The Cannabis Poet—reading from his works, and Marcus & Jurgen, developers of the Volcano vaporizer. The show closes with our ending theme "It's All Good" by Rockin' Jake. The first edition of the John Sinclair Radio Show was posted by Henk Botwinik on www.johnsinclair radio.com at 11:00 pm on November 22, 2004—38 weeks prior to the introduction of podcasting—and 681 programs later we begin our 13th year of internet broadcasting today with this slightly edited version of our original episode.

My band had Showtime Johnny Evans on tenor saxophone, Jeff Grand & Laith al- Saadi on guitars, immy Bones on piano, Don Was on bass and Tino Gross at the drums. One of my high points was the appearance of a young woman, daughter of saxophonist Bob Schultz of Jackson MI whose name I don’t remember, singing a very salty version of “Stormy Monday” in the middle of the proceedings.
