Sinclair On The Air 78 <– Listen On Demand
This broadcast of Sinclair On The Air is coming out of Café the Zen in Amsterdam Oost with music recorded right here at Studio Zen during the past week by John Sinclair & His International Blues Scholars, featuring Vincent Pino on guitar, Tom Worrell on keys, Leslie Lopez on bass and Steve Fly Agaric 23 on drums, with a pair of French guitarists added to the program because I’ll be working with them this weekend at the Festival Rochefort-en-Accords in the south of France: Nawfel (opening theme) and Gilles Riberolles (closing selection). Our second hour follows with a selection from the Radio Free Amsterdam Vintage Radio Vaults, a program called Alabama Jubilee that was produced by John Sinclair & Keith Keller in 1994 for WVAS-FM at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama with “live” music recorded at Montgomery’s Jubilee CityFest. The Sinclair On The Air show is heard every Saturday night at midnight over Salto Wereld Radio-99.4 FM and Cable 104.6 as a service of Radio Free Amsterdam.PLAYLIST 78
