John Sinclair Radio Show 555: The Preacher

Episode 555 is beaming out once again from the 420 Café in Amsterdam, our home base in The Netherlands and indeed the world, where we’re commemorating the great achievement of pianist-composer-bandleader Horace Ward Martin Tavares Silver, who passed away last week, by listening to his pioneering soul jazz & jazz funk recordings with the Horace Silver Quintet for Blue Note Records from the mid-1950s into the 1960s. Memorial services for Horace Silver will be held at 7 pm on Monday, July 7, at St. Augustine of Hippo. Espiscopal Church, 290 Henry Street in Manhattan.
