John Sinclair Radio Show #314
Bohemian National Home
Sunday, March 7, 2010 @ 12:00-1:00 am [20-1010]
Detroit, MI
I’m back in Detroit for the spring season after a month in the South that was not much warmer than this, but I left a trail of radio shows made during my travels. Now I’m serving as Poet in Residence at the Bohemian National Home for the next six weeks and for the first program here I invited Holice P. Woods, Shaun McDonald, and Light Show Bob of the Trans-Love Energies Compassionate Care Collective to hear about their plans to open a medical marijuana distribution center in Detroit. Then there’s music from the Motor City by Yusef Lateef & His Men, Joe Weaver, John Sinclair & His Motor City Blues Scholars, Pat in the Hat, early Detroit Cobras, very early MC-5, Johnnie Bassett “live” at the 420 Party, Jr. Walker & the All Stars at the Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival, Thornetta Davis at the late lamented Music Menu, and the dearly departed Lyman Woodard & his Organization.
