Tribute set for Robert Johnson

The disc was recorded at Natural Light and Sound Studios in Hazel Park, home studio of drummer Steve Kohn. It's the first time the group, which also features bassist Bob Godwin, has recorded there.


Featured guests on the disc include blues legend and 2010 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient David (Honeyboy) Edwards. "I went to Chicago and recorded him in his home," says Glazer. "He's 95 years old." Honeyboy is featured on the track "Detroit Blues Party."



The disc also features guests John Sinclair, Emanuel Young, Lady T, Maggie McCabe and a horn section -- a first for the band.
