Up Close: Legendary Cannabis Activist John Sinclair (2014)

D. Paul Stanford of Campaign for the Restoration and Regulation of Hemp (CRHH) talks to legendary poet, writer, and political activist John Sinclair about the importance of his historic marijuana case and the relevance of the 50th anniversary of Michigan's artist workshop.

In December 1971, after public outcry spearheaded by John Lennon, Sinclair was released after serving two years and six months for giving an undercover officer two joints in 1966. Sinclair was originally sentenced to ten years.
