I’m broadcasting tonight once again from the Poet in Residence studio at the Bohemian National Home in Detroit, flying solo and playing music from the many precincts of the Motor City by the Planet D Nonet, Andre Williams, Was (Not Was), John Sinclair & the Pinkeye Orchestra “live” at the Bohemian National Home in October 2009, R.J. Spangler’s Blue Four featuring Bill Heid, Ras Kente & the Take No Prisoners Posse, Faith, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Ron Allen, the Detroit Cobras, Kenny Martin, Johnnie Bassett & the Blues Insurgents, and John Sinclair with Gary Lammin on a funny song we recorded in London late last year.
